Time is the enemy

Ticking clocks
Point me the truth
As time fades
And hours pass

I’ve spent it all
Got lost, no track
Minute and hour hand
Collide, inside

It’s never gone so slow
I’ve never heard the hands drag
But they’re pointing in one direction
And that’s you

Today, time is the enemy
I wish it would all just fade
And make the minutes rush by
Not causing me to feel every single sigh

My breath carries it all
And the hopes of tomorrow
When time is
A friend, a true ally
And no longer, my enemy of love.
